Apples
Did you know that apples are amongst the most sprayed products of conventional agriculture?
This was one of the primary reasons we began to grow our own fruit. In Manitoba, we are able to grow many different cultivars of apples with unique flavours and appearances. Apples require a second, different, cultivar for pollination. Most of our fruit trees are multiple years old and just entering the fruit bearing age. We estimate around half of them will begin to produce small amounts of fruit in the first year of planting with yield going up each subsequent year.
